Lead Cook (40 hrs per week)
Location: Downtown St. Pete
We are looking for highly-motivated individuals interested in creating and executing wholesome, vibrant dishes in a fast paced, collaborative kitchen.
The ideal candidate: is passionate about food, enjoys exploring playful flavor combinations, takes full ownership of the savory menu, can collaborate on creating plant-centric seasonal menu offerings, assists on training prep cook(s) to execute weekly menu offerings, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
Previous professional kitchen experience and proficiency in various cooking methods is preferred, however we are happy to train the right individual!
Standard work week is Wednesday - Sunday generally between
7AM - 330PM.
As the lead of the culinary team, you must value team culture and be well-versed in Le Clementine bakeshop products and values.
Starting at $18/hr
Responsibilities include*:

Supervises culinary team and ensures all baking operations run smoothly to exceed our customers' expectations.

Takes weekly inventory and ensures the culinary team is adequately stocked with quality ingredients and supplies.

Inspects finished product to ensure that established standards on quality, consistency and aesthetic appeal are met.

Commitment to production safety procedures.

All staff will be assisting on daily dishwashing and kitchen clean up.

Requirements include*:

High School Diploma, GED or higher education

Food Safety Manager certification preferred

Ability to lift heavy items, at least 50 lbs on a daily basis
