Pastry Baker (30 - 36 hrs per week)

Location: Downtown St. Pete

The ideal candidate: is a passionate, career-focused baker who has previous bakery experience and/or is able to learn in a fast-paced environment; has experience prepping components such as pastry creams, frangipanes, frostings, etc.; must be able to follow and complete detailed recipe instructions independently; is willing to assist where needed throughout the kitchen. 

Extra points for professional execution of tiered-cakes.

Extra extra points for professional experience with laminated doughs. 

Must be available Wednesdays - Sundays, including early mornings (4am on select days). 

As a member of the pastry team, you will execute all tasks related to assembling, mixing, and finishing pastry and Viennoiserie while displaying a commitment to Le Clementine values and team culture. Assists on FOH duties and beverage prep as needed.  

Starting at $16/hr

     Requirements include*:

  • High School Diploma, GED or higher education

  • Food Handler's License preferred

  • Strong commitment to highest product quality

  • Ability to lift heavy items, at least 50 lbs on a daily basis

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Stamina: ability to stand for 10 hours at a time

  • All staff will be assisting on daily dishwashing and kitchen clean up.
